Dr. Emily Impett is a research associate at the Center for Research on Gender and Sexuality and a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Personality and Social Research at UC Berkeley. As a social psychologist studying the psychology of relationships and sexuality, her research investigates how aspects of individuals (i.e., their motives and goals), aspects of couples (i.e., their attachment dynamics), and sociocultural norms (i.e., gender roles in relationships) influence personal and interpersonal well-being.
