Post Doctoral Fellowship Program
The post-doctorate program is a central aspect of our work here at CRGS.
Our post-doctorates participate in two-year fellowships in research on
gender and sexuality in the social sciences. All of our post-doctorates
come to us very accomplished; they have authored peer-reviewed publications,
worked in the field, taught courses, and bring to the center specialized
knowledge and interests. Led by Deborah Tolman, they join research teams
involved in longitudinal studies of adolescent sexual behavior and endeavor
to strengthen their skills in conducting research on sexuality-related
questions by engaging in data analysis, supervising and training research
assistants, developing coding schemes, and preparing presentations and
peer-reviewed journal articles. They also participate in weekly seminars
designed to supplement their knowledge of research methods, current theory
and research in adolescent sexuality, and other skills related to professional
development.
